Black Panther Party Chairman Bobby Seale is interviewed by Elsa Knight Thompson in the San Francisco County Jail two days after his return to the Bay Area from the Chicago Conspiracy Trial. Seale talks about first meeting Huey P. Newton, his origins as a revolutionary and the difference between self-defense and terrorism.
Speech by Bobby Seale, chairman of the Black Panther Party, at the Free Huey Newton rally held at the Oakland Auditorium on February 17, 1968 on Newton's birthday. Seale goes over the Black Panther Party's list of demands for the black community, praises Newton's teachings and contributions to the Party and rallies the audience to defend themselves against the racist power structure.
Note : Program is distorted at times as on original tape. Parts 1 and 2 contain entire event but with high distortion.
